MMORPG to reach the console could be quite popular

Was PC crossplay with the Xbox One or PS4 (we are conscious those two having crossplay collectively isn't possible right now) something which the team considered? Was the exclusion based on not needing to radically change the landscape of long-established servers?

There was some discussion when we first began, but Tera Gold was immediately lost when we made a dedication to producing the finest possible TERA console experience. This led us to focus our development efforts on a specific variant of the game, and create console-specific features like a completely redesigned user interface with a radial menu and smart stock to ease usability.

Would a Nintendo Switch version of TERA be possible in concept or are there a lot of constraints, technical or differently? The first hardcore MMORPG to reach the console could be quite popular. In theory, it may be possible, and there is a definite opportunity there, but we do not have programs for a Switch variant at this moment.

TERA has been around for a long time now, and is one of a handful of MMORPGs to have authentic, sustained, long-lasting success. But over time, the older leveling and questing systems become dated in certain games. Did you need to alter anything in-game to get ready for the influx of brand new level 1 players entering the game?

We'd already made quite a few alterations to the leveling curve and we introduce content to new players, but in the run-up to our games release, the team took a peek at what occurs when players encounter the primary TERA plot. To streamline the process (and ease congestion in early zones), we re-wrote and re-routed a couple of quests for people through the early levels and into high-threat, high-reward articles as fast as possible.

In fact, we enjoyed the changes so much, we rolled them into the PC version as well! Will there be any impact on upgrades / new content to the PC version of TERA together with the addition of PS4 and Xbox One? What's the next set of articles that games players can anticipate?

The console versions of this game are manufactured by a separate team, so their development generally will not impact the PC version. For now, the PC version has the most current content, whereas the console variant plays a little bit of catch-up. Ultimately, our goal is to bring the 2 variations closer together, though adapting new systems from PC to the consoles in a means which makes sense and can be instinctive to players sometimes makes that challenging.

For us, the choice is always quality over quantity, and even though we'd like to have all versions of the game completely in sync, every stage has its own distinct attributes, audience, and challenges, and we will need to approach each one individually.

From the console version specifically, we have got a summer full of new content and events intended, so there should be no lack of things for console gamers to participate with. What is the team most excited about what's to come for tera gold xbox for both PC and consoles? Denomme: Visit the skies! There's far more going on overhead than you think.
