Coming from out of country

Postby Elicia » Sun Jun 23, 2013 7:21 pm

I'm coming from Canada and am planning on selling prints of my artwork. How would I declare that at the border both going to and from the convention?

Here a link to the U.S Customs and Border protection website, https://help.cbp.gov/app/answers/detail ... ng-the-u.s.

The seem that is it better to declare then not.

I have a friend who is also coming from Canada to sell. At the border they told her to say she is just showing her artwork and not selling it to save time and money. I doubt that's what you're supposed to do, but that's what they said. I think it would be different if you were a large company or something.

This came up a few years ago :

I know I've seen the originators name , daevaofthenight , in the forums recently, so I believe she's still active. You might want to PM her and see what she did.
