How many people did you have in your room?

I seriously think more and more people cram themselves into one room every year XD
I believe the limit is supposed to be four (if I'm not mistaken).

I had four, My limit in a room is 4. It's just enough room to be comfortable but lets face it with enough con chaos even four can get annoying lol.

Had 6 in my room. We got a "free" roll out bed that was supposed to be provided to us. However at first they were out of them. It wasn't until I tipped my bell hop guy 20$ that I got one T_T.

He was all "I think I can remedy your situation" and "if you need anything else call me". Felt like I was trafficking drugs or weapons.

5, it was in a hotel about a 6 minute drive away (Best Value Inn)

The hotel we stayed in was awful lol

The bathroom was prison styled
Dryer/Laundry machines were broken
Half the outlets didn't work
And the walls were so thin, that we heard some very explicit moans & banging from the next room

Luckily next years con is pretty close to my house & it would just take a 25 minute drive. So there wouldn't be any need for a hotel. (i might end up staying in one anyway )

Including me, 4 people. I had two other friends and one of their moms came as a parental guardian person. She mostly stayed in the room or sat around the lobby while we three were walking around and stuff.

On the thought of roll-out beds, did anybody else get them? Have to pay?

We were supposed to have 12 and we ended up with only like 7 for some reason. I don't really know, I didn't spend that much time in the room xD

we had five people in our single king-size room including me.

and yes, they charged us for a roll out bed :/
which wasn't a huge deal i guess. our parental figure (who was staying in her own room) made us get one XD

I have enough trouble sleeping with even one other person in the room - so it's always just me and my girlfriend. ;)

I wasn't staying at the hotel, since I could only be there for saturday. But I have a relevant anecdote. When I was working at a sleepaway camp, we would get one day off a week, in groups of about 30 counselors per day. And depending on who would go off on their own and who would stay with the group...

There once were 17 people sleeping in one hotel room. So 7 to a room for me sounds AMAZING. So PEACEFUL and spacious. That's what hotel rooms are for: cramming and partying.

Youmacon 2009 has taught me that I will never be as good as Chair. It has also taught me to never be the one to pick which staircase to go up.
