Hit Girl - Pink Utility Belt

Postby Fallen_Angel » Tue Aug 03, 2010 1:51 pm

Hi, I was thinking on doing a Hit Girl costume, from the movie Kick ****. Most of it seems simple enough but I cant seem to find the pink utility belt. I've found some tool belts but they dont look quite right. This is what she looks like.

You could find a plain pink belt, maybe either canvas/fake leather, etc, and make the little add-ons painted to match the belt's color, and attach them with Gorilla Glue or some other sort of fixative. If you could find a plain belt-buckle cover, and just paint the "HG" onto it, that might work. Did you already have any other ideas about what you might do?

It seems a bit wider than your standard belt, so I would suggest making it yourself out of pink fabric or canvas. It isn't that hard, just measure your own waist, measure the fabric! You can use velcro or something to close it, and the little pockets out of canvas probably won't be too hard either.

I'm sure you can find a tutorial on the internet for making small pocket-like add-ons, and then you can clip or sew these onto your belt.

Sometimes if you can't find it, you've got to make it!
