Postby nikkyvelvet » Fri Sep 12, 2014 5:23 pm

hi i'm dressing as a genderbent version of professional wrestler sting for the con but i'm having trouble finding a face paint that won't rub off on my clothes
(last year i used this cheap facepaint from party city and most of it ended up rubbing off on my shirt) and will last for a few hours does anyone have any suggestions

I don't have very much experience with facepaint, but I've heard really good things about the Snazaroo brand. I hope that helps a bit!

SNazaroo can work well, but as with any theatrical stuff you need to seal it to keep it from really going anywhere, It can also somewhat run a little if you get really overheated.

I use Mehron and Ben Nye stuff myself....

Of course, if you probably wanna know anything and everything about bodypaints and airbrushing and stuff (and learn the decent stuff out there), probably best to talk it up with the local Homestucks. If anybody will know bodypaint these days outside of LARP'ers, it'll be your Homestucks...:)
