Figured I better crosspost this all here as well for those who still chat on the forums a bit....though most discussion is seen on the Facebook pages these days... I mainly just copy/pasted the data from the Facebook threads on the Youmacon Fan page, Youmacon Cosplay and Photography page and the Youmacon With Hooker's and Blackjack fan page... I recommend HIGHLY following the FB side, as it is much more active...

Anywho...Welcome one and all to the General Information for the Youmacon 2016 Photoshoots. I, Miss Raiji do this out of my own time, volunteering my services to the con staff to help out. I do not directly work for the con, but am working alongside members of Live Events staff (Lauren, and some chat with a few others as well) to coordinate photo shoots for you guys. :) Please take a moment to read through, or at least skim through this post to cover some basics. I know it’s a little long winded, but please bear with. Within the one document linked is also the answer for the FIRST QUESTION ON THE SUBMISSION FORM, which you WILL need to submit.

Be aware though, unless I am off that day, there is a chance that between roughly 11am-8pm, responses may take a little longer to be gotten to, as I may be at work, but know I will respond as soon as I get home. If I have a moment during a break, I will try to answer as well if I can.

I WILL UPDATE THIS DOC EACH TIME I ADD NEW SHOOTS, AND FROM 9-17-16, EACH TIME I UPDATE THAT DOC, I WILL SIMPLY COMMENT "UPDATED" IN THE COMMENTS TO SIGNIFY NEW SHOOTS ADDED TO DOCUMENT (Facebook Side).

It cannot be considered for ‘official shoot’ designation till registered. As the main events schedule is finalized and we make sure nothing conflicts, shoots will move to ‘official’ status, and hosts notified.

Cell’s on the Schedule shaded a LIME GREEN are tentative and times/dates, and not officially locked yet as final time. Once it is 'locked'/OFFICIAL, the cell will be shaded ORANGE, meaning it’s the final time/location is now official and locked based on discussion with staff and the hosts.

REMEMBER ALL PHOTOSHOOTS WILL BE CONSIDERED TENTATIVE IN TIME AND DATE TILL AT LEAST MID-OCTOBER. TIMES WILL BEGIN TO BECOME FINALIZED FOR PRINT AFTER THIS DATE.

Remember, till you receive my second posting CONFIRMING the slot is final and official, these time are not locked. Only once you receive that post, can you then add 'Official' to the shoot title.

Ladies and gentles, the final countdown commences on getting in those photoshoot requests in, as does any last minutes changes to already registered shoots!!! On October 15th at 11:59pm submissions close and any last chances to adjust slots of registered shoots will also end.

On October 16th, I will do the final check and begin the issuance of my "Locked and Loaded" postings to all FB event pages of registered shoots, who have been granted the 'Official' status for Youmacon 2016.

Once that post is received, you will be able to use the Official designation on the event page. Within the week, once all the posts are made, I will also release out to the groups and to Youmacon links and QR codes to copies of my version of the Youmacon Photoshoot schedules which will be a version similar to the Youmacon Program format used in the books (the format used for the panel/event schedule and will only have the OFFICIAL shoots listed),and version I call the "Quick Guide" (Which will list all shoots, even 'unofficial' ones with an 'Unofficial' designation next to it) which will be a document style one which will have all the shoots broken down by location, then day and under each day, the shoots will be listed in order of when they start...

A bump and reminder....

Remember ladies and gentles... tomorrow Saturday October 15th at 11:59pm, photoshoot registering will close, and no more shoots will be logged as far as 'Official'. Tonight and tomorrow will also be the last time to also adjust any shoots as well.
Starting today, and through tomorrow, and Sunday, I will begin the locking of the blocks and begin rolling out my "Locked and Loaded" posts.
By Monday if possible, I hope to start rolling out the files that will be all the photoshoots at Youmacon. There will be at least 2 formats. One similar in style to the format used by Youmacon for the event/panel schedule, and a "Quick List" which will literally be a list format with shoots by location, then date/time.
