Interesting Things Found on the Floor

Postby cabitt511 » Thu Nov 15, 2007 4:13 pm

We've all done it. Found something cool laying around at convention, and picked it up. Some of us keep it, some of us turn it in, others throw it away. So.

What's the most interesting thing you found at Youmacon 2007?

-------------------

Not found by me, but my boyfriend and his buddies: A mini Naruto wandering around the parking lot lost and crying. (Don't worry, he was returned to his rightful owners XD )

Well, I didn't find it, but a friend of mine did. There was something that looked like a $5, but when you opened it up, it was just a wee little piece of paper, about half the width of a $5, and it said something like "Jesus will never let you down"

I thought it was pretty funny.

At Youma 06 I found a Snakes on a Plane pin that I still have on my purse.

Well...it was on the ground, but in my bag. I had left my bag in the storage room at the hotel because I didn't have a room at the Hilton. When I came back, I found a bag of snacks in there and assumed it was my friend's cause she put a bunch of stuff in my bag. On Sunday, when we dropped her off at her house, I gave her the bag and she said it wasn't hers, so I kept it. ^^ It had an unopened bag of pocky, an opened bag of the Hello-Panda, and an empty, sticky ramune bottle. It was an interesting little surprise.

Other than that, my friend found a camera on the floor and turned it in, but nothing else except trash.

We found a little wind up skull toy in the stairwell... we were going to give it to someone awesome (lmao I was gonna hunt down the Sesshoumaru) but it got lost, I think I set it down somewhere. Still, it was fun. XD

I found a pin that said "Chii...." on it. It's still in my coat pocket.

Free money, and you didn't take it?

I saw someone drop $5 the other day at school. It became mine.

I saw a (thankfully clean) but opened pad on the ground uhhh... Saturday night, I think it was.

Aside from that, I never really paid much attention to the ground. >_>

When I was hanging out with a group of people, we found furry porn in a bag. ...I don't think anyone kept it.

Not this year, but last year I once found a lot of delicous snacks in a corner that nobody seemed to claim. Unfortuanately, the ingrediants were in Japanese and my allergist told me strictly not to eat anything where the ingrediants are illegible especially if they are of an oriental origin since the Asians tend to use peanuts a lot.
Okay! I am 100% confirmed that I will be going to Youmacon one way or another. Look for me as Ana from Earthbound Zero and Splash Woman from Megaman 9 while you are there.
