AMV Wars

How were the AMVs that were shown at this event chosen? Quality, age, and theme didn't seem to be a factor, so I've been puzzling over this for a bit.

Generally we look for videos that are fun, have proven to be enjoyable by crows, and most of all are sing/dance able. We've been running this event for nearly 10 years and have lots of such videos available to play but also try to add in new content while hitting at least some of our old tried and true videos especially when we have new crowds who haven't been to the event yet. This is all done on the fly during the event taking into account the energy level of the room and is a collaboration between the MC, VJ, and other staff as we come up with a list and order as we go.

The big factor here is if the video is fun and/or sing/dance able. Age, quality, ect don't really play into it as much as that.
