AMVAMV project, a no excuses editing project

[Original post: http://www.animemusicvideos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=37&t=123622] The short of it is thus: In conversation, myself and several other folks decided we wanted to put together a comedy project that evoked the rapid-fire humor of Vine and Japanese commercials. A montage of six secon...

Re: How to Play Videogammes [Panel]

I suppose I'm curious about how long this panel would be; there are aspects of your pitch that make more or less sense based on how long you'll be talking. Otherwise, it seems interesting enough to me!

[Feedback] Kingdom Hearts is people and ... (2012)

Although this thread is late to the proverbial party, we [the panelists] were curious as to what our audience thought of our presentation. We had a lot of fun at the panel, but if and when we do another panel it would help if we knew what was liked and what was disliked. I'll be honest though, we ne...

Re: 2012 Video Gaming Feed Back Thread

I really liked the game room this last year. For some reason, most of it was not usable, whether because the hard drive didn't h...

Re: Detroit Locations of Note

The Monroe Steak House was very, very good. It's a small little place, but the food was possibly the best I've ever had, and the staff was great. Be prepared though, it's pricey.

Re: What will you do differently this year?

I will probably still shoot for 72 hours at the Rock Band Kiosk, but I might visit the dealers room this year. I haven't done that in a few years of going to the con, and I think I might buy something. Like an anime. Maybe. I do want to support some of the artists who come though, so I guess I have ...

Re: Safety At Cobo

You will be safe at Cobo. The area is well policed in general, and like they said, the crowds are a wonderful deterrent. Detroit itself is a huge city. Most of the issues the city has have to do with outlying portions of the city, and the thinly stretched city infrastructure due to the vast size of ...
